Introduction post: SCI-FI November

It is now November 1st where I'm at. And you know what that means? It's the start of a whole month where we celebrate my all time favorite genre. When I first read about it, I knew that I had to be a part of it. Can you just imagine being able to talk about robots, space, mind control etc. for one whole month? Let me save you the trouble of having to imagine it. Because Rinn @ Rinn Reads and the girls @ Oh, the Books! made it possible for us to celebrate the awesomeness that is SCI-FI! It is with utter excitement and happiness that I welcome all of you to SCI-FI November!!!
***Cue round of applause*** or ***just clap, if you're alone like me***

I started prepping for this event back in August. But if you know me, this would be the only prepared post coming in. I have a lot of sci-fi madness in store and I can't wait to share it with all of you. My immense love for the genre started when I read a Michael Crichton novel. If you're curious, that would be The Lost World. I love how I get to have fact and fiction all in one serving. I can remember all those times I managed to answer random questions because of all the Sci-Fi books and movies I've devoured over the years.

Together with all the Sci-Fi lovers out there, welcome to Sci-Fi month!

  1. The book that made me fall in love with sci-fi is Removed by SJ Pajonas and the Star Wars movies. I am really excited for sci-fi month! And I agree the combination of fact and fiction is so well done in most sci-fi books, I love that!

Glad to see you joining SFM this year :D Does that mean you read The Lost World before Jurassic Park?

    1. Yes exactly! I know seems a bit weird but it was the first Michael Crichton I got my hands on. It was my mom's.
