The TBR Tag

created by Dana @ Dana Square & Rachel @ A Perfection Called Books.

I've been tagged by Joy @ The Bookshelf Intruder. Shout out to you! Thanks for remembering me.

How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
Goodreads. And an Excel sheet for the ones I'm about to review. It sounds organized, but it's really not.

Is your TBR mostly print or ebook?
Ebook. I tend to hoard them since I'm not faced with the reality of having to actually carry them all with me. It's sad but ebooks just tend to pile up and up and up on my hard drive.

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?
I close my eyes, stick out my index finger and jab the screen with it. Then scream "Tag! You're it" That's my ideal scenario. But it doesn't happen that way, it's usually which book is scheduled for a tour the earliest then I make my way from there.

A Book That’s Been On Your TBR List The Longest

I've tried reading it one time. I found out I needed to focus and really immerse my self in this one because the writing is different from what I'm use to. No reading and doing something else at the same time for this (for me).

A Book You Recently Added To Your TBR

I read an awesome review of this book over at the Diva Booknerd. I'm not one to turn down a good vampire story.

A Book In Your TBR Strictly Because Of Its Beautiful Cover

Look at that. Wow.

A Book On Your TBR That You Never Plan on Reading

I've read a lot of not so good review for this. I'll probably just watch it on TV.

An Unpublished Book On Your TBR That You’re Excited For

I love this series. Sometimes you just need that series that lets you enjoy it without having too much emotions invested in it. The story so far can only be described as cute and enjoyable. Holly Smale is funny and definitely so is Harriet Manners.

A Book On Your TBR That Basically Everyone’s Read But You

I'm sorry, okay?

A Book On Your TBR That Everyone Recommends To You
The book gods was being very nice to me when I won the copy of Dangerous Boys. However, everyone but me already read Dangerous Girls. Some even say it's better than Dangerous Boys but I don't have anything to compare it to. Soon, you will be mine!

A Book On Your TBR That You’re Dying To Read
I went on a Tellulah Darling crazy phase when I was reading The Blooming Goddess Trilogy. I know she's an expert on swoony boys and I would love to add another swoon worthy character on my already existing long list.

How many books are on your Goodreads TBR shelf?
106 books. I'm hopeless. Hopelessly happy! :)

  1. Yay! So glad you could do this, Ana! Yes, yes, yes, you should read The Lightning Thief. No one's ever too old to start reading this. And I haven't read Dangerous Girls either, though I have a copy. We need to start fixing our TBR!

    1. I knoooow! It's really getting out of hand. Books that I want to read are piling up everywhere. But it's all good, better this problem than not having anything to read right? This is one of the good problems to have. Can I borrow your Dangerous Girls?? Haha.

    2. Wait, I thought you won that from Faye's giveaway? Or was it Dangerous Boys?

    3. I won Dangerous Boys. Haha, I think I confuse the two a lot. Sorry :)

  2. -pushes away the 900 books on her Goodreads TBR- >__> I have a problem, lol.
Ebooks tend to pile up with me, too. It just doesn't feel as real! I'm running out of room on my shelves, so I started buying ebooks and now I've got 300 unread books on there. V_V

I hope you have a better experience with Dangerous Girls than I did. It's disheartening for me to hear that Dangerous Boys is better, XD. And The Lightning Thief is a cute read. :)

    1. 300 books? Wow! And ebooks are much cheaper too, that's why I can't help hoarding them when they are all I can afford. hehe

  3. Loving the cover of Geek Girl!

    1. Thanks for the tag Olivia. The cover was one of the reasons why I grabbed this book. Good thing I enjoyed it :)

  4. Haha I love how your ideal way to choose your read is to jab at the screen and choose whatever one your finger is pointing at. haha. I don't think I've ever actually tried that. I think usually when I do such things I open my eyes, see what my finger has landed on, decide I don't like it and have to do it over again, haha.

Ooh The 100. I have to admit I haven't seen any reviews for the book but I did watch an episode of it on TV and I just couldn't take it seriously! It was just horrid! But I know a lot of people love it so I guess that's just me :P

And hey, don't worry, I haven't read the Percy Jackson books either! I think I do own a copy of The Lightning Thief back in the States as it was required reading for one of my teaching classes during my undergrad. But I actually never read it and just pretended I did or something like that (or maybe I read like a chapter or two?). Whoops! :P

    1. I would sometimes cheat when I point at something I didn't really like to read at that moment. Kinda defeats the purpose of the whole thing, but hey, I won't tell if you won't, haha.

The review I read over at goodreads for The 100 just made it seem that it's a waste of time :)

It's hard to be in the middle of all the hype with the series ending and all, but I figured I'd get to it eventually.
